Mega Millions jackpot won10 January 2007UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- One ticket has won it all. Somewhere there is a ticket worth an estimated $122 million. That ticket, which was purchased in Amarillo, Texas, matched all six numbers in the January 9, 2007 Mega Millions drawing. The winning numbers were 07-11-26-38-54 and the Mega Ball number was 13. But that mega-winner was certainly not the only winning ticket in Tues day's drawing. A total of 1,052,514 tickets won prizes. Nine tickets matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were purchased in California (2), Georgia (2), Michigan (2), New Jersey (1) and New York (2). The jackpot for the Friday, January 12, 2007 Mega Millions drawing is $12 million. Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time. |
