Mega Millions Jackpot Reaches $35 Million

UNITED STATES – (Press Release) -- So you think nobody won Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing? Not so. Even without a jackpot winner, there were more than 330,000 winning tickets, amounting to more than $2 million in prizes. That includes two tickets that each won Mega Millions' second highest prize of $175,000 and 33 tickets that each won $5,000. The jackpot for the Friday, January 16, 2004 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated annuity value of $35 million.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 03-17-18-21-45 and the Mega Ball number was 21.

Those two tickets that each won $175,000 did so by matching the first five numbers. They only missed the final Mega Ball number. Those tickets were sold in New Jersey and New York.
