Mega Millions jackpot reaches $125 million24 July 2008SACRAMENTO, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Jumping $20 million since Friday, the California Lottery's Mega Millions game offers players a rare chance at $125 million tonight. The game has rolled 10 times without a grand prize winner since it was last hit more than two months ago. Tickets for the game cost only $1. For tonight's jackpot, tickets can be purchased until 7:45 p.m. Results are announced at 8 p.m. Players must match five numbers plus the Mega number to claim the grand prize. Tickets are available at more than 20,000 California Lottery retail locations throughout the state. Players can find authorized retailers by visiting calottery.com/locations. As jackpots rise, the California Lottery would like to remind players that gambling should be fun.
