Mega Millions jackpot grows to $45 million

UNITED KINGDOM – (PRESS RELEASE) -- So you think nobody won Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing? Not so. Even without a jackpot winner, there were nearly 400,000 winning tickets. That includes one ticket that won $250,000. Now the jackpot for the Friday, October 13, 2006 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated annuity value of $45 million.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 14-30-35-40-43 and the Mega Ball number was 02.

That ticket that won $250,000 did so by matching the first five numbers and only missing the Mega Ball number. It was purchased in New Jersey.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
