Mega Millions jackpot grows to $150 million

UNITED STATES –- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Lucky players nationwide continue to win big with Mega Millions. In Friday's Mega Millions drawing, a total of 872,218 tickets from coast to coast won prizes, including six tickets that came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, the jackpot grows to an estimated $150 million for the Tuesday, February 20, 2007 drawing.

The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 17-35-40-46-48 and the Mega Ball number was 41.

The six tickets that matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number were purchased in California (2), Georgia (1), Illinois (1), New York (1) and Texas (1).

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
