Mega Millions jackpot grows to $105 million

UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Lucky players nationwide continue to win big with the Mega Millions game. In Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, a total of 579,150 tickets from coast to coast won prizes. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, the jackpot grows to an estimated $105 million for the Friday, April 6, 2007 drawing.

Five tickets won Mega Millions' second highest prize of $250,000 in Tuesday's drawing. Each of them matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were purchased in New Jersey, New York (2), Ohio and Washington.

The winning numbers in the April 3 drawing were: 16-26-33-34-46 and the Mega Ball number was 38.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
