Mega Millions jackpot grows

UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Friday the 13th was lucky indeed for many Mega Millions players. A total of 435,215 tickets won prizes in the Friday, April 13, 2007 Mega Millions drawing. That includes four tickets that each won $250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot grows to an estimated $27 million for the Tuesday, April 17 Mega Millions drawing.

The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 11-14-21-25-26 and the Mega

The four tickets that each won Mega Millions' second highest prize of $250,000 matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were sold in Georgia, Maryland, Michigan and Virginia.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
