Mega Millions grows to $69 million

UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Friday, April 27 Mega Millions drawing really brought out the winners! A total of 513,965 tickets from coast to coast won Mega Millions prizes, including two tickets that each won $250,000. However, no ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $58 million jackpot. That means the jackpot for the Tuesday, May 1, 2007 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated $69 million.

Those two tickets that each won $250,000 did so by matching the first five numbers and only missing the Mega Ball number. They were purchased in New York and Ohio.

The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 5-7-26-38-56 and the Mega Ball number was 15.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
