Mega Millions Grows to $12 Million

UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The jackpot is growing once again in Mega Millions. Less than a week after a ticket sold in Warrensville Heights, Ohio won an estimated $106 million jackpot, Mega Millions excitement is building. A total of 292,329 tickets from coast to coast were winners in the Tuesday, June 7, 2005 drawing. That includes four tickets that each won $175,000 and 15 tickets that each won $5,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot for the Friday, June 10, 2005 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated $12 million.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 07-14-28-46-47 and the Mega Ball number was 25.

The four tickets that won Mega Millions' second highest prize of $175,000 matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were sold in Georgia, Illinois, New York and Virginia.
