Mega Million Jackpot Reaches $90 Million

UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mega Millions players throughout the eleven participating states won a total of $4,127,182 million in Friday's drawing. There were 461,455 tickets that won prizes ranging from $2 up to $175,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, the estimated jackpot for the Tuesday, November 9, 2004 drawing advances to $90 million.

The winning numbers for Friday, November 5, 2004 were: 03-29-30-41-43 and the Mega Ball number was 01.

Eleven tickets came close to winning the jackpot in Friday's drawing. They matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number to each win $175,000. The tickets were sold in Georgia (1), Michigan (2), New York (2), Ohio (2), Texas (2), Virginia (1), and Washington (1). There were also 28 tickets that matched 4 numbers plus the Mega Ball number to each win $5,000.
