McCartney's Big Payday18 February 2002LAS VEGAS -- As reported by People magazine: ``Paul McCartney is to be paid an astronomical £3 ($4.28) million to play a one-off gig at the MGM Grand, the world's biggest hotel, in Las Vegas. ``The 6 April show is being pencilled in as a replacement for the Lennox Lewis-Mike Tyson fight ``...the hotel's spokesman, Scott Ghertner, said, 'We have not signed him yet but talks are continuing and we hope to make an announcement within a few days.'..." |
