Match fixing allegations prompt public protests in Pakistan and England

ENGLAND AND PAKISTAN -- Cricket fans displayed their dismay over match fixing allegations in both Pakistan and England today, The Guardian reported.

In Lahore, Pakistan a group pelted donkeys labelled with accused players names, with rotten tomatoes, the report said.

In London, protestors threw rotten vegetables at the Pakistan cricket team bus as it arrived at Lords, The Guardian reported.

In both countries fan expressed fury and disappointment in the suspected players, repeating that they had bought shame to their country, the Guardian report quoted.
