Massachusetts says Foxwoods-backed Casino suitable for license

MASSACHUSETTS -- The Crossroads Massachusetts LLC group, which includes Foxwoods, have been "conditionally" approved as suitable for a license by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, Bloomberg reported.

Crossroads must now attain additional funding as part of the conditional agreement, the report said.

The company is up against Wynn Resorts and Suffolk Downs for a casino license in Boston, the Bloomberg report noted.
