Massachusetts horse racing subsidy reduced in bill18 November 2011MASSACHUSETTS -- The approved Massachusetts gambling bill will see subsidy reduced to horse racing, Bloodhorse reported. In the most recent version of the bill the horse racing industry will see subsidy to the tune of $17.5 million, the report said. Other versions of the bill would have seen the racing industry gain an additional $15 million, the Bloodhorse report noted. The bill is now awaiting the final endorsement of Mass. Gov. Deval Patrick. |
