Massachusetts: Gaming commission will not delay licensing decision2 July 2014BOSTON, Massachusetts -- The Mayor's request for a delay on the casino licence decision was denied by the state gaming commission, according to a Boston Globe report. Mayor Martin J Walsh wanted the decision to be postponed until the outcome of a November ballot, the report said. Last week the state supreme court ruled that voters will decide in November on whether casinos and gambling should be repealed, the Boston Globe reported. |
