Mass. Gaming Commission to hold public meeting27 May 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold its 153rd open public meeting on Thursday, May 28. The Commission will receive a project and schedule update from Wynn MA LLC. The Commission will review administrative matters including 3rd quarter budget and diversity update. The Commission will review the status of the resort-casino licensing process in Region C (Southeastern Mass). The Commission will discuss the status of KG Urban and potential modifications to evaluation questions in the Phase 2 application. The Commission will receive a briefing from the Investigation and Enforcement Bureau about the ongoing training of MGC’s Gaming Agents in preparation for the public opening of the Plainridge Park Casino. Lastly, the Commission will receive an update from the Legal Division on the recently submitted Suffolk Downs racing application. Legal will also discuss a series of draft and emergency regulations.
