Mass. Gaming Commission releases Feb. 2016 gaming revenue

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) reported today that the month of February 2016 at Plainridge Park Casino generated $12,669,678.44 in gross gaming revenue (GGR). The category 2 slots parlor is taxed on 49% of gross gaming revenue, of that total taxed amount 82% is paid to Local Aid and 18% goes to the Race Horse Development Fund. To date, the state has collected $55,581,369.91 in total state taxes and race horse assessments from Plainridge Park Casino since its June 24, 2015 opening.

Coin in: $153,714,821.12

Hold %: 8.11%

Payout %: 91.89%

Total collected state taxes and race horse assessments: $6,208,142.44

MGC will continue to post monthly revenue reports to its website MassGaming.com. The information will be available in the Revenue section and posted approximately the 15th of each month.
