Maryland switches to leasing slot machines25 January 2012MARYLAND -- Maryland is changing over to leasing video slots for its five casinos, according to the Maryland Reporter. Cost and flexibility are the motivation for the lottery to switch, the report said. The state will have leasing agreements with eight different companies to provide the video slots, the Maryland Reporter said. Leasing offers more flexibility with slots that may not prove as popular as expected, the report noted. |
