27 April 2012

MARYLAND -- A special session is likely to be called to deal with expanded gambling in Maryland, according to South Maryland News.

The General Assembly needs to resolve the budget issues before they can turn to expanded gambling, the report explained.

$130 million in cuts are needed to the budget, South Maryland News reported.

It is likely that both special sessions will happen in late May, the report noted.
