Maryland slots funding pushed22 January 2008MARYLAND -- As reported by the Maryland Gazette: "Controlling state spending, pushing slot machine approval to fund schools, providing health insurance to those who 'truly' cannot afford it and catching up on transportation funding were among the priorities emphasized by Betty Buck, president of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, at the group's annual Business Day in Annapolis Thursday.
