Maryland Officials Hire Consultant

MARYLAND – As reported by the Baltimore Sun: "While lawmakers have not decided whether to legalize slot machines gambling in Maryland, state officials are already preparing for the arrival of the machines.

"The Maryland State Lottery is seeking a consultant to oversee bids for a central computer system to monitor slots.

"'This is to help us write the requests for proposals,' Lottery Director Buddy Roogow said…"
