Marker Trax, Koin welcome Tina Robinson as new Senior VP of Gaming Compliance

6 September 2024

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Cashless payments innovators Marker Trax and Koin have welcomed Tina Robinson as new Senior Vice President of Gaming Compliance for both companies.

During an exciting period of innovation and market expansion for both Gary Ellis-led companies, Robinson will lead the development and deployment of crucial compliance initiatives, helping the cashless trailblazers launch industry-defining gaming technology while navigating important regulatory guardrails nationwide.

Robinson is a respected, seasoned professional in the gaming industry with a wealth of knowledge and experience across multiple regulatory jurisdictions, a critical experience base as Marker Trax and Koin continue to grow.

“Tina’s arrival comes at one of the most important junctures in both our companies’ growth and in the evolution of the entire cashless payments space,” said Koin and Marker Trax Chief Legal Officer Mark Hemmerle. Added Koin President Gary Larkin: “Having solidified our positions as leaders in the sector, Tina brings an expert understanding of the nuanced requirements and regulations across all our multiple jurisdictions. Leading our gaming compliance initiatives, she will be a key player in helping us effectively navigate these challenges.”

Prior to joining Marker Trax and Koin, Robinson enjoyed a long career in gaming and compliance. As Senior Vice President of Gaming Compliance at GAN Limited, she was a crucial liaison between industry regulators and company officials, while managing all compliance efforts. And as Vice President of Compliance for William Hill, she directed interstate regulatory teams in compliance, licensing and anti-money-laundering reporting initiatives. Additionally, Robinson was instrumental in launching sports wagering in multiple states, along with iCasinos in New Jersey and West Virginia.

The past year has been marked by several important milestones for both companies, anchored by a sizable reinvestment from early investor Euronet Worldwide, Inc., and by being chosen to lead a key panel at October’s Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.

“We’ve accomplished so much already in driving the evolution of cashless gaming. Tina’s leadership will be instrumental in taking that evolution to the next stage,” said Marker Trax President Charlie Skinner.
