MANITOBA – As reported by the Canadian Press: "Manitoba Conservatives are calling on the province to stop plans for a native casino north of Winnipeg unless it bans smoking.

"Tory Leader Stuart Murray says the province must protect workers and other people at the proposed Casino Grand Beach from second-hand smoke.

"Murray also says the province could be sued by victims of such smoke at the casino, but Premier Gary Doer argues that his hands are tied…"
