Manitoba gambling lounge opens

MANITOBA – As reported by the Winnipeg Sun: "A new native-run gambling lounge with 40 video lottery terminals (VLTs) with an adjacent smoking lounge will open doors Friday in Headingley, says Swan Lake First Nation Chief Robert Daniels.

"…The new VLT lounge is next to the John Blumberg golf course in Headingley.

"Daniels is expecting the lounge that is close to Winnipeg and also butts up against the busy Trans-Canada Highway will attract many people and offer a 'substantial increase in revenue for the band.'…"
