Man Sues Harrah's

MISSOURI – As reported by the Madison County Record: "The victim of a puddle of water, Michael Meyer, filed the 500th lawsuit in St. Clair County Circuit Court's Law Division this year claiming a Missouri casino is negligent for an incident that damaged his body and psyche.

"Meyer, an electrician hired to make repairs at Harrah's Casino in Maryland Heights, slipped and fell in a puddle after walking through a door on June 2, 2004.

"…Meyer alleges that the fall caused serious injuries to his body, including his leg, and has caused great pain and suffering and a loss of a normal life…"
