Man Jumps from Connecticut Casino Hotel Room14 April 2004CONNECTICUT – As reported by the Connecticut Day: "A 27-year-old Wethersfield man jumped to his death from the 28th floor of the Mohegan Sun hotel Tuesday afternoon after smashing a room's window with bricks. "The man had lost $600 over the course of eight visits to the casino, according to a source who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "On a February visit to the casino, his last before Tuesday, the man lost $50. "…The man apparently carried bricks into the casino in his suitcase and used them to smash through the heavy-duty hotel window. He barricaded his hotel room door. "Mohegan Tribal Chairman Mark F. Brown said it looked like the man came to Mohegan intending to kill himself, and that based on the information he had received it was not a gaming-related incident…" |
