Man Cheats Macau Casino23 July 2004HONG KONG – As reported by the Malaysian Star: " A Hong Kong man allegedly cheated a newly opened Macau casino out of HK$30mil (RM14.6mil) at the baccarat table, newspapers reported yesterday. "The man, identified only by the surname Wong, reportedly collaborated with a partner to switch cards at the Sands Macau, which was opened in May by Las Vegas gambling mogul Sheldon Adelson. "…Macau authorities have arrested Wong and ordered him to stay in the tiny enclave, but he has been released on bail because of 'insufficient evidence.'…" |
