Man Charged with Slot Skimming

SOUTH DAKOTA – As reported by the Associated Press: "Twenty-eight felony charges have been filed against a Minnesota man in what authorities called a slot machine skimming operation in Deadwood.

"Law officers said Tracy Brandt, 34, of Austin, Minn., put his hand in the payout chutes of slot machines in 16 casinos over the Independence Day weekend.

"The amounts listed in each count range from $90 to $210. Authorities have video surveillance tapes related to the case…"
