Malaysia: 150 arrested for fraud, gambling9 April 2012MALAYSIA -- A police raid targeting suspected tele-scammers with online gambling involvement resulted in 150 arrests yesterday, according to The China Post. Of those arrested, 73 were Taiwanese, 74 from China and 5 were Malaysian, the report said. The scammers were mainly targeting the Chinese community in various Asian countries, the China Post report said. |
