Majority of Iowans support plan to raise casino taxes21 February 2011IOWA -- A plan by Gov. Terry Branstad to cut tax for corporations by increasing casino tax has the support of a majority of Iowans, according to the Des Moines Register. Gaming company executives oppose the plan, which was also see less money for local charities, the report said.
