Maine OTB betting down

11 June 2007

MAINE -- As reported by the Kennebec Journal: "It's 15 minutes to post time at Pimlico. The Preakness, the second leg of the Triple Crown, is moments from starting.

"...The other reason is the number of entertainment choices. To Barbarino, those who do have the money to spend on bets often go to out-of-state casinos, or they might spend a day at Hollywood Slots in Bangor rather than the OTB..."
