Maesano joins Live! Casino and Hotel as Senior VP of Marketing11 August 2020(PRESS RELEASE) -- Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia today announced the appointment of Mario Maesano as Senior Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Mr. Maesano will lead the overall development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives for the new world-class gaming, dining and entertainment destination set to open in Early 2021 in the South Philadelphia Stadium Entertainment District. Among his responsibilities are the execution of all Live! branded marketing programs, loyalty marketing, creative development, traditional and social media, sponsorships, special events and promotions, entertainment, guest services, player development, and group sales. A South Jersey native, Mr. Maesano is a veteran gaming executive, who brings more than 30 years of experience and an extensive knowledge of the industry to this new position. Mr. Maesano began his gaming career in 1991 at Resorts International in Atlantic City, NJ. He went on to join Ameristar Casino in 1995, before embarking on a successful 11-year tenure with Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc., where he held senior marketing positions at several of the company’s luxury casino resorts, including L’Auberge du Lac Resort & Casino in Lake Charles, LA; Boomtown Casino in Bossier City, LA; and Lumière Place, River City Casino and the President Casino, all in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Maesano also previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Mr. Maesano joined the Live! team in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Marketing, leading marketing initiatives for the grand opening of Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover, MD, the first Live! branded casino in the industry. During this time, he also played an integral role on The Cordish Companies’ corporate development team working on corporate and international expansion and development projects, including Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and Live! Casino Pittsburgh. |
