Madison Business Approved for Video Lottery

SOUTH DAKOTA – As reported by the Madison Daily Leader: "Madison business will be able to offer video lottery and on-site sales of malt beverages.

"Monday night, commissioners voted 3-1 in favor of granting the licenses to Madison Discount Liquor owners Chris and Ken Wede. Public Safety Commissioner Karen Lembcke voted against approving the application.

"During the meeting, the Wedes said that the video lottery area would be accessed from an outside door and from inside the store, and that the room would be monitored personally by employees and with security cameras…"
