Macau university offers casino exec course29 February 2008MACAU -- As reported by the Macau Daily Times: "Upcoming gaming executives will learn how to handle enthusiastic Chinese gamers and casino halls filled with new year holiday crowds at a course to be offered for the first this year. "To feed the growing need for casino executives, the University of Macau will replicate a Las Vegas course aimed at helping junior and mid-level managers progress along a casino's career path. "The course, beginning on April 7, will be open to a maximum of 50 students and will run for four and a half days. "The 16 invited lecturers, including professors and professionals from the US and Europe, will focus on the Macau market and the emerging Singapore casinos. With the interest from the international gaming industry in Macau growing, the course is designed to introduce executives to some of the differences and oddities of Asian casinos..." |
