Macau Gaming Tax Rises

MACAU – As reported by Xinhuanet: "Macau's income from direct gaming tax rose 17.8 percent year-on-year in the first eight months, according to official statistics issued here on Monday.

"The statistics released by the Finance Service Bureau (FSB) showed that the gaming tax reached 10.9 billion patacas (1.37 billion US dollars) in the months.

"The direct gaming tax payments made up 75.8 percent of the government's total income between January and August, the figures showed…"
