Macau gaming numbers up

MACAU – As reported by the Xinhau: "The government of the Macao Special Administrative Region collected 14.18 billion patacas (US$1.5 billion) in direct gaming taxes in the first nine months of the year, a year-on-year rise of 13.4 percent.

"The statistics issued Monday by the Finance Services Bureau ( FSB) showed that the gaming taxes accounted for 72.1 percent of the government total revenue in the period…"
