Luxor Hotel and Casino displays 'BODIES' exhibition

(PRESS RELEASE) -- As smoking remains the leading cause of lung cancer, BODIES. . . The Exhibition inside Luxor Hotel and Casino encourages visitors to give up cigarettes and learn about the negative effects of the habit. In support of American Cancer Society's "Great American Smokeout" on Thursday, 16 November, smokers who throw away a pack of cigarettes in the "Commit to Quit" container, located outside of the BODIES' box office, will receive a complimentary audio tour with the price of admission.

Inside the Exhibition's respiratory room, guests are invited to view a real smoker's lung damaged by toxins and tar alongside of a healthy human lung, offering a impactful visual to the dangers of smoking. Additionally, special smoking facts will be on display throughout the Exhibition and feature enlightening information about how tobacco products negatively impact each system within the human body and severely damage its organs. By providing powerful learning tools, BODIES. . . The Exhibition hopes to increase awareness about the perils of smoking and support healthy lifestyle choices.
