LSOP 2012 kickoff features $500,000 prize pool6 June 2012LIMA, Peru -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Peru is going to look at lot like Vegas starting June 7. The Latin Series of Poker has confirmed more than 350 players in Lima, Peru for the first annual $500,000 Guaranteed poker tournament. "We're setting up shop in Peru and we're excited to bring so many players with us to this incredible tourney," stated LSOP spokesperson Michael Harris. "And good news for those who haven't won their seat yet — there's still time." The Latin Series of Poker runs from June 7 through 10 at Casino Atlantic City in Lima, Peru, and features a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. Those who have yet to win their seat can buy into the tournament locally. Super Satellites run at 9pm and 8pm, local time, on June 6 and 7 for just $180+$20 at the casino. Online poker players who have become accustomed to late registration and the famous re-entry option won't be disappointed. Late registration will be available during the first three hours and players are allowed to re-enter after busting out on day 1a. The re-entry option is also open for day 1b.
