Louisiana Restaurant Planned for Hard Rock

BILOXI, Mississippi – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Acme Oyster House is looking to serve its Creole jambalaya, oyster artichoke bisque and New Orleans bread pudding at the Biloxi Hard Rock Hotel & Casino resort.

"The restaurant chain, which originated in the French Quarter in 1910, is in negotiations with Premier Entertainment, the casino's parent company. Today, Premier is scheduled to ask the Biloxi City Council to lease a city-owned restaurant building adjacent to its property. Premier is also seeking approval to sublease the building to Acme.

"The waterfront building was formerly occupied by Fishermen's Harbor Seafood Restaurant.

"…[Jeremy DeBlieux, director of development for Acme] and officials with Hard Rock declined to discuss specifics of the plan before receiving approval from the Biloxi City Council and finalizing their agreement…"
