Louisiana Compulsive Gambling Programs get Donation

LOUISIANA – As reported by Shreveport Times: "A $79,722 donation given to the Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling on Monday will go toward building an outpatient program in downtown Shreveport and renovating the association's inpatient site, CORE, or Center of Recovery.

"The money came from the Hollywood, Sam's Town and Horseshoe casinos and Louisiana Downs. Isle of Capri and Boomtown casinos donate annually through the Louisiana Casino Association, which usually gives $100,000 every year…"
