Louisiana AG Targets Underage Gambling

LOUISIANA – As reported by the KLFY News: "The Louisiana attorney general's office is developing a program to target underage gamblers.

"According to a recent study, more than one-third of sixth graders nationwide and more than half of twelfth graders have participated in some form of gambling this year.

"Attorney General Charles Foti says Texas hold 'em tournaments and unregulated internet gambling make the gaming industry look flashy and fun.

"…The A.G. hopes to spread the word about gambling addictions in schools and on TV…"
