Lottery Winner Finally Claims Prize25 March 2004INDIANA – As reported by the Indianapolis Star: "A 25-year-old Greenwood woman claimed the $6.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot Tuesday, four months after she bought the winning ticket at a Shelbyville gas station. "Jennifer Diles, an instructional designer for SBC Communications Inc. and one of the jackpot's youngest winners in its 15-year history, decided not to receive her winnings in a lump sum. Instead, she chose the annuity option, which means she will collect about $248,000 before taxes each year for the next 25 years. "…Diles knew she had won the Nov. 22 jackpot months ago and had kept in touch with state lottery officials for weeks, said lottery spokesman Andrew Reed.
