Lottery boost for London 2012 mass participation legacy15 November 2010LONDON, England -- A legacy fund for the London 2012 Olympics has received £135m from the National Lottery, the BBC reported. The fund will create facilities, venues and playing fields and hopes to encourage more people to play sport, the BBC said. The initiative called Places People Play also contains a volunteering initiative, the BBC added. |
