London TV personality to represent PKR at UK event

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- PKR.com has announced that London based TV presenter Ashley Hames will represent the next-gen site at this week's GCBPT held in Bristol.

The Gala Casinos British Poker Tour is one of the UK's most exciting events, attracting players from all corners of the world. The Grand Final of this year's tour returns to Bristol where seven days of action will culminate in the crowning of the second Great British Poker Champion. Prizes for the festival total £400,000 with three quarters of that sum allocated to the Main Event.

Hames, who will be representing PKR at the event, shot to fame for his saucy exploits hosting Bravo's number one rated Sin Cities. A keen poker player and PKR TV commentator, Hames remains enthusiastic about his chances at the £1,500 buy-in event saying, "I'm going to Bristol to take this tournament down! I can't wait to hit the felt and take on some of the UK finest players."

The timing may be perfect for Hames - his GCBPT appearance comes just days after JC Tran emphatically took down the third PartyPoker.com Premier League while representing PKR. The APT ambassador wore PKR branded clothing for the whole event and also made a guest appearance on PKR.com alongside Nam Le, Chino Rheem and Quinn Do in a special APT Pro Bounty tournament.
