Local UK Leaders Aim to Exploit Casinos

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by the UK Press and Journal: "The Government's easing of gambling restrictions means roulette and card tables will soon share space with bingo, sports betting and rows of slot machines.

"The rule that requires gamblers to apply for casino membership 24 hours before playing will also go, and it is thought that the 3% of the adult population that visits casinos will increase sharply.

"Local authorities throughout the UK are considering the new gambling laws as a way of transforming rundown areas, to exploit casino firms' aim of building hundreds of casinos…"
