COMMERCE, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Huicun Qiao of Los Angeles capped another memorable tournament year at Commerce Casino by claiming the L.A. Poker Open and winning the $132,705 first-place prize.

When the final five players agreed to a chip chop, Qiao had the biggest stack and earned a chop share of $107,705. The remaining players also agreed to leave an additional $25,000 on the table to sweeten the pot for the winner, which added to Qiao's winning total.

Michael Wang of Los Angeles, the eventual runner-up, was fifth at the time of the chop agreement and won $62,555. In the decisive hand, the board was: 9/club, 5/spade, 2/diamond, 6/club.
