Licenses Approved for Cannery Casino Hotel

LAS VEGAS – The North Las Vegas City Council on Wednesday unanimously approved liquor and gaming licenses for the coming Cannery Casino Hotel on Craig Road, west of Interstate 15.

Mayor Michael Montandon said the council's action was simply a formality for the casino, which received approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission last month.

The casino at 2121 E. Craig Road is expected to open next month.
