Levees threatened by storms causes horse evacuation

BOSSIER CITY, Louisiana -- Storms are threatening the levees in Bossier City, Louisiana the Thoroughbred Times reported.

This has led Louisiana Downs to remove 250 horses for their safety.

The casino is also closed.

Louisiana Downs prioritized employee and horse safety.

Levees are stressed but holding up, the Thoroughbred Times reported.
