Leno raises $100,000 US for oil spill recovery23 August 2010BILOXI, Mississippi -- Jay Leno performed a benefit gig this weekend at the Beau Rivage Resort, the CBC reported. The show raised $100,000 to aide recovery in the Gulf Coast from the oil spill, CBC said. Leno was quoted as saying he was moved by the plight of people and wanted to keep attention focused on the area, the CBC report said. |
