Lawmakers hope tax break for bus companies might help tourism10 September 2012ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- The volume of buses ferrying tourists to Atlantic City casino has starkly declined from the 1980's and a new tax break for bus companies hopes to change that, according to the Press of Atlantic City. The plan is to introduce legislation that would mean out-of-state bus companies no longer have to pay New Jersey's corporation business tax, the report explained. The tax break is aimed at bus companies who ferry tourists in and out of the state and it's hoped the legislation can have a swift passage to approval, the Press of Atlantic City report said. |
